A New Zealand artist, Alice Whyte (nee Fallwell) was born in 1880. She studied at the Elam School of Art in Auckland where she later taught. She returned to Elam School to study under John Weeks in 1929. A watercolourist, she exhibited with the Auckland Society of Arts as Alice Fallwell until her marriage in 1908, and as Alice Whyte from 1920.
