Born in Sydney in 1961, Neale Joseph is a painter whose artistic oeuvre has developed out of a principally plein-air tradition. Neale captures the beauty of the Australian landscape with vibrant colours and a unique interpretation that flows from the heart. Neale has exhibited regularly in both solo and group exhibitions. He has won the internationally recognised ‘Veuve Clicquot’ and ‘Great South Land’ art prizes and has exhibited regularly in solo and group exhibitions all around Australia and abroad, including a 50 painting sell out exhibition at the in the Parliament House in Canberra.
The total number of works by Neale Joseph offered for sale by auction since 1997 is 18, of which 14 (78%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,700 for Middle Harbour from Balmoral sold by Lawsons in May 2021. This year one work has been offered for sale.
