Born in Otaki in 1925, Geoffrey Fuller was a Hawkes Bay artist and illustrator. He graduated from the Canterbury School of Art in 1951 and achieved many awards for his work, including, the Louise Lonsdale Prize for Life Drawing, the Queen Elizabeth II Art Award in 1966 and 1970, and the Norsewear Art Award in 1987. He completed numerous design commissions, including murals, civic sculptures, New Zealand postage stamps and children's books. From 1953 he taught art at Hastings High School, Hastings Boys High School, Hastings Girls High School & Karamu High School as well as adult evening classes. Exhibited regularly in Hawkes Bay and throughout New Zealand. Works held in private and public collections in New Zealand and overseas.

The highest price recorded for the artist is $5,382 for Dock Yards sold by Cordy's in June 2024. This year 17 works have been offered for sale.
