Born in Victoria in 1883, Crozier studied at the Melbourne National Gallery School and in London and America. Principally a landscape artist, he exhibited throughout Australia and at the Royal Academy. He enlisted in the AIF in 1915 and became a member of the topographical section. Then in 1918 he was appointed an official war artist.
